Popular TV Host/comedian, Ellen Degeneres does not want to leave any stone unturned as she rented a huge billboard to beg Beyonce for a followback on Instagram.

On one of the latest episodes of Ellen DeGeneres’ show, the comedian/host pointed out that Beyoncé has more than 106 million Instagram followers — even though she’s following zero people.

So Ellen announced she has a new goal in life:

” I want to become the one person that Beyoncé follows.”

To make it come to pass, Ellen got the entire audience, about 400 people, at the taping of her show to do the “Single Ladies” dance, in hopes that her instavideo of it would catch Beyoncé’s eye.

The crowd did the dance, but there was no word from Beyonce.

Ellen Degeneres isn’t giving up! Check the billboard she now put up in front of Beyonce’s house begging her to follow her on Instagram. lol.

Young Girl caught after she stole N70k from woman’s account via ATM In Delta (Photos)

A young girl, SS2 student in a secondary school in Delta state, was humiliated after she was caught stealing N70,000 from a woman via ATM.

According to reports, this young girl’s victim wanted to withdraw money from an ATM but was discouraged on seeing the long queue already waiting to use the Automated Teller Machine before her.

So she decided to pull a fast one by giving her ATM card to the alleged thief who was at the top of the queue – to help her withdraw N10,000.

Unfortunately for her, the young girl at the top of the queue decided to rbb her and withdrew N70,000 instead of N10,000. The alleged thief allegedly transferred N50,000 to her own account then kept N20k in her pocket.

As she made to disappear after her broad daylight robbery, her victim, (the account owner), gave her a chase with a motorcycle, shouting ‘thief-thief’.

The girl was immediately nabbed and mobbed by eye-witnesses.

There was a white wedding reception at Landmark event centre, Oniru on Saturday that has got Nigerians talking.

Days ago, the couple had their traditional wedding and the racy aso-ebi outfits worn by ladies to the event had the internet shook. (See here)

Turns out they had a bigger plan for their white wedding reception. Not only was the decor lavish, but strippers were hired to entertain guests at their afterparty, and money bundles given out as souvenir.

Bemigho Reno Omokri is a Nigerian author, lawyer and host of Christian teaching TV show broadcast on San Francisco’s KTLN and Detroit’s Impact Network.

He is also known to be a major critic of the President Muhammad Buhari’s administration.

“Social Media is destroying so many marriages, it did the same to mine”- Segun Arinze

Veteran Nollywood actor, Segun Arinze who suffered a broken marriage in 2003 from his ex-wife and actress Anne Njemanze ‘Domitila has spoken on the failure of marriages among Nigerian celebrities.

According to the actor in an exclusive interview, social media is damaging so many marriages and it played a row in his failed marriage.

He said;

“Social Media is helping to destroy so many marriages and a lot of our so-called celebrities are not helping themselves by putting their marriages and relationships on social media.

“Your private life should be private. I have had my share of it, remember I had a broken marriage before I remarried again.”

The actor also urged that celebrities separate their private lives from the public to avoid the drama.

“Learn to keep your private life private and your public life public. You don’t let the whole world come into your life and see what you are doing because the same people who are seeing you today and going to mock you tomorrow.

‘As a public figure, it’s really tough being a public figure. Celebrities need to separate their private lives from the public, show what’s necessary if it’s important.”

‘It’s really crazy how everybody post about their private life on the Internet, looking for likes and all that. Social media has its advantages in terms of reaching out to fans, marketing and promoting of your brands. But the disadvantages will come back to hurt you.’

Segun Arinze who was born to a Yoruba father and an Igbo mother is happily married to Julie Arinze and they have three children together.

In a previous Interview, the veteran actor revealed that he has six children in all from different women including one from his ex-wife, Ann Njemanze.

Lady chops off her neighbor’s tongue for ritual purposes

A lady identified as Ilerioluwa has been arrested at Ogudu, Lagos, for cutting off her neighbor, Suleman Babangida’s tongue, supposedly for ritual purpose. The incident happened around midnight on Thursday, October, 5, 2017.

Narrating what happened, the victim, Babangida, said: “It was around 11:30pm when I came back home. Then when I was about to go and urinate at the bathroom, all of a sudden I just saw this lady that I usually call Ilerioluwa, at my back inside the bathroom.

I was like sister Ileri what’s happening, all of a sudden, she just choked my neck and I could not have the strength to scream out extremely. All I could see next was that my tongue had been cut down.”

Ileri was later arrested and the tongue retrieved from her. According to Babangida, she is currently being detained at the Kirikiri prison, after appearing in court on Friday.

Regarding his current condition, Babangida said: “Right now I can’t even eat or take something. I am in pain. The tongue can’t be reattached any longer. I’m not in any relationship with Ileri.

I respected her a lot and took her like a sister. She has nothing to say about what she did to me. The case has been adjourned till the 16th of this month.”

Nigerian photographer unreachable after revealing that he’s committing suicide due to his HIV status; has already reportedly overdosed

A budding photographer Chika Micheal Ekezie, @DreamCatcherPhotography on Instagram has gone missing after he posted suicidal message on the gram.

According to him, he found out about his HIV Status and life has gone sideways for him since then. 

In his words,  “So today I bring an end to my life and my career….. Since I found out about being hiv positive life has gone bad in all ways…. I have sought to work for free for people… I am done. This account would be closed soon… Thanks to everyone who ever believed in me”

Updates from his friends revealed he overdosed on a drug and passed out somewhere in Lagos.

Seen by many as the toughest group of the continent’s five qualifying tables, Nigeria have been dominant, remaining unbeaten throughout and only dropping points thanks to a Cameroonian penalty on the road in Yaounde. The 4-0 win a few days earlier against the reigning African champions was a particular highlight.
