Pretty Lady Killed On Her Way To Abuja To Get UK Visa

According to a facebook user, Gabriella Okwara, a young promising lady, Faith Chuku was shot dead by gunmen in Rivers state on her way to Abuja to collect her UK visa.

Gabriella narrated how the young promising lady was killed by unknown gunmen in port harcourt, Rivers state.

She wrote;

‘One of my juniors in secondary school, a young promising girl who was traveling to Abuja alongside her mum to get their visas and head back to the U.K. was shot dead by the trolls on Elele road and some insensitive clowns here are telling me to not raise alarm on the high rate of insecurity on East west road in other not to paint Rivers State bad, are you kidding me?

Where is your conscience? Instead of you to lament, stage protest and demand that the security personnels at state and federal level do their jobs, you are there talking plenty! God have mercy on you.

Governor Okorocha Bans ‘Keke Napep’ In Imo, Replaces Them With 2000 Volkswagen Wagons

Tricycle Operators(Keke Marwa) in Imo state will cease to operate in designated areas in Owerri, the State Capital as from Tuesday, September 5, 2017. Only taxis will now be operating in the Capital City.

For that reason, the governor shared about 2000 Passat Wagon Vehicles to Keke Operators as a replacement, on Wednesday, August 30, 2017, to enable them comply with the directive. Balloting was conducted at the Hero’s Square for the beneficiaries to emerge.

The second batch beneficiaries will get theirs in October while the third batch will have their own in December 2017. Keke Operators will no longer be expected to operate along the major roads of Douglas, Wetheral, Bank Road, Orlu Road and other designated roads”.

Addressing the Keke Operators, Governor Rochas Okorocha said,

“Few years ago when the Keke people gave me a very resounding support, I promised you people that I will change you from three legged to four legged and for that reason, today marks the beginning of movement from tricycle to full car.

I give you these cars without subjecting you to pay for forms, or cost of transportation or any another fee, I release it free of charge, I am doing this for God’s sake that the poor people may smile.

I want all of you to understand that I am making the highest sacrifice that it may be well with my people.

I have tried to make Imo much better than I met it, as I struggle painfully, having sleepless nights to make the life of my people better, I want you to reciprocate by joining me in the fight to rescue the state totally from the hands of scavengers ravaging the state over the years.

I relocated Ekeukwu to stop crime in the area and clean the city of dirt so that light can come in but the Sadducees and Pharisees cashed in and changed the narrative.

Only yesterday, they said they want to pay condolence over a child that was shot, let me tell you, neither the Police nor any government official shot any gun and till today nobody has shown where the blood of that child was but this happened along Mbaise road not even on Douglas Road.”

A Young Sachet water seller who just graduated from High School was given a wheel barrow ride by his friends to celebrate his achievement.

A friend of the celebrant who had sold cold water to see himself through high school, Philip Blamo, took to Facebook to share photos and wrote;

“Liberia: Humbly Dignified Our Hero Of The Year.

Poor economic hardship did not stop him from completing his high school education.
He sold cold drinking water on the street of Liberia Margibi County to fund his education .
His friends were so proud of him and decided to sponsor his graduation program. He was escorted home by his friends in a Weelbarrow and with a cheering crowd singing and dancing to his achievement.

Calabar Church Ritual Saga: Ritual items are drama costume; blood is from goat – Pastor

Pastor Anthony Obo of God’s Commandment Ministry was defiant, yesterday, when he was paraded by the Police, claiming that the ‘occult items’ found in his church were drama costumes, while the blood found in a red bucket in his church was that of a goat and a chicken he killed to celebrate his baby’s dedication.

The pastor, who was paraded along with five other accomplices, told Vanguard that he did not abduct the one-year, six-month-old girl whose heart was reportedly found in a white basin in his church.

He said: “The red chairs covered in white sheet and the black bag and other occult items were used by the youth of my church for art and drama presentation, while the blood in the red bucket is that of the goat and chicken I killed to celebrate the dedication of my child who was one year last week.”

The spokesperson of Cross River Police Command, Ms Irene Ugbo, however, said the pastor and his accomplices were arrested following a confessional statement by one of the suspects that they were sent by the pastor to abduct and kill a baby, whose heart was put in a basin and handed over to him.

She said: “The heart has been sent to the University of Calabar for forensic examination, while we are investigating where the body of the baby was dumped or buried.”

She added that investigations into pictures of those found in the church are being carried out to identify the reason the pictures were found there.

Banker Loses His Job After Thief Stole N1.2 Million From His Office

A banker in Lagos has allegedly lost his job after someone entered his office and stole over a million Naira.

According to the twitter user identified as Adebanjo Adebayo who shared the news, said the thief stole N1.2 million from Access bank located in Ejigbo area of Lagos last month.

Adebayo also revealed that the theft cost his brother his job as he was sacked by the back recently for the missing money.

The alleged thief was tracked after a CCTV footage from the bank was reviewed.

Popular music star, Chinagorom Onuoha, otherwise known as African China is currently bereaved following the demise of his father, Elder Onuoha.

According to Daily Post, Pa. Onuoha passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 after battling undisclosed ailment.

Confirming the incident, African China described his father as his hero.

The Commissioner of Police in Lagos State , Mr Fatai Owoseni , on Wednesday said he was not aware of the appointment of a new police commissioner for the state.

Owoseni addressing newsmen at the Lagos State Police Command , Ikeja, said he was yet to receive any directive concerning a new police commissioner in the state .
