Evans Disassociate Himself From Law Suit Filed Against The Police

The kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike known as Evans has disassociated himself from recent claims filed for his sake against the police.

In a motion filed before the Federal High Court Lagos on Wednesday, the suspect had affirmed grave constitutional infraction perpetrated against him as he should have been charged or summoned before the court.

He listed the Inspector General of Police, the Nigeria Police Force, the Commissioner of Police in Lagos, and the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Lagos Command as the respondents in the suit.

Only just 24 hours after the suit, Evans filed another suit in which he alleged the total of N300m for damages against the police for the illicit detainment and unlawful media trial.

In an exclusive interview with Channels Television on Sunday from police confinement, the suspect rejected the claims as an endeavor by a few people to place him in a worse situation.

He said;

“I have no hand in any case filed against the police and I did not speak with any lawyer or my father to fill a case on my behalf. All I will say is that they should temper justice with mercy”.

The suspect noted further that regardless of the possibility that he was discharged by the police, he would not go due the fact that those he has kidnapped and collected a millions of naira from as ransom would kill him.

The Federal High Court in Lagos had on Friday rejected the suit filed by the said legal advisor Olukoya Ogungbeje.
