He was quoted in a statement saying ” I declare on this day, at midnight, the end of the outbreak of the hemorrhagic fever of the Ebola virus in DRC,”
Mr Ilunga added that the last outbreak would have been contained but because of the low outbreak of the virus and logistics issue, the virus came out again.
The health minister also commended the health workers who did a great job in containing the virus.
