Just before 2015 ended, Kanye West released a surprise, victory rap titled “Facts,” that went through his highlights of the year.
Michael Jordan’s sneaker sales in 2015.
West, who left Nike and took his Yeezy sneakers over to Adidas, celebrated beating his old brand, taking several shots at the athletic wear giant.
West, also a fashion designer, boasted that while he hadn’t released an album all year, his “sneakers went platinum” in 2015. The shoes sold out almost instantly at stores internationally, West said in his track.
Going through more of his 2015 highlights, the rapper called back to his speech at the MTV Video Music Awards, when he ended it telling the world he would be running for president in 2020.
He reminds listeners on the track that he hasn’t forgotten about his campaign.
“2020, I’mma run a whole election!”
West gives high praises to his superstar wife, Kim Kardashian, claiming her “Kimoji” app broke the Apple Store when it came out.
While Yeezy had a great year, he also decided to give shoutouts to two stars who have had an awful 2015.
“Do anybody feel bad for Bill Cosby? Did he forget the names, just like Steve Harvey?”
West also celebrated the birth of his son, Saint West, in December, but the boy was noticeably missing from the victory lap track.
