Nazim Miyam, who is in his mid-twenties, reportedly lured the boy, Mohammed Monis, while he was outside playing with his friends.
When he had the little boy in his room, he beheaded him, cut his limbs and neck, ripped out his stomach and started feasting on him carnivorous style.
The horrified mother alerted the police and when the police arrived the scene, they found the man-eater sitting beside the dismembered body of his victim.
Hindustan times reports that Police officers confirmed the incident and described the disturbing scene at Nazim’s home.
They found “the body… lying on the floor with the decapitated head beside it. The skin on the abdomen was missing, and internal body parts and bloodstains were scattered across the room,” an officer told Hindustan Times.
Moments after the arrest, angry residents gathered outside the police station in Amariya, Uttar Pradesh.
They aimed to attack the man-eater and demanding that he should be killed instantly.
Meanwhile, Nazim has been charged with murder and abduction.
