In an amazing show of feat, a 7 year old girl made headlines as she broke records to complete the 2017 edition of the Lagos City Marathon race.

Damilola Oluwaseyi ran the entire 42km race of the children’s category of the Lagos City Marathon.

Damilola, who emerged winner of her category, has been showered with many praises.

In the adult category, Kenyan athlete Abraham Kiptum emerged victorious at the Lagos City Marathon.

Kiptum, who smiles home with $50,000 for his victory, holds the Lagos marathon title winner for two years in a row.
