Saturday night was filled with gloom as woman and her baby lost their lives when their car plunged into a lagoon in Lagos.
According to the Lagos State Rapid Response Squad, the car had three occupants, a man, his wife and child when the car lurched into the lagoon around Bonny Camp, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The man was rescued while his wife and child did not make it out alive.
