Americans are celebrating Serena Williams as a ‘Super Woman’ for being pregnant during the Australian Open where she won her 23rd grand slam title.
However, Nigerians reaction to the news is that it is no big deal.
Many took to twitter to share some stories of some amazing woman who were strong and fit during the term of their pregnancy.
In particular, one said that a 9ja woman will break firewood and pound yam while eight months pregnant.
Another laid claim to her mom being pregnant during the 1998 MKO Abiola war and had to jump a fence to escape some invading Hausa men.
