The Barcelona superstar met Antonella in their native city of Rosario in Argentina, where the first part of the ceremony will take place.
The ceremony will be held in Arroyo Seco, a quiet suburb of the Argentine city.
Their wedding is set to take place just six days after Messi’s 30th birthday.
Messi and Antonella’s two children Thiago and Mateo are set to play key roles in the wedding.
A second ceremony is expected to be held in Barcelona for friends and family who cannot make it down to Argentina
