Actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde shared an open letter, urging motorists to desist from delaying hospital ambulances.
She said this prevents them from helping a patient in dire need of medical attention. Adding that every second counts.
Read what she wrote after the cut…
“Dear people, please if you see an ambulance trying to make a head way, please , please , please, make way or pack so they can pass! They are MOST times carrying CRITICALLY ILL people and Every second counts. If you’re walking or on a bike, forewarn others ahead to move aside. Its not a time to “Drag road” or act complacent. Please share this message, it can save someone,” she said.
Well, she has a point there, but many were quick to point out that most times, Nigerian ambulances are empty and the drivers just want to take advantage of unsuspecting Nigerian motorists.
