Reno Omokri vindicates Lai Mohammed Senegal Jollof Rice Statement Reno Omokri and Lai Mohammed seem to finally agree on something after he vindicated the Nigeria’s information minister’s comment where he indicated the Senegal Jollof was indeed very sweet.

He wrote

The producer of my TV show, Geo Helene Sow, is from Senegal. She made the original Jollof Rice (THIEBOU Dieun) for me. Yes, Jollof actually originated from Senegal, not Nigeria! Jollof is actually named after a place in Senegal. They break their rice before cooking it and it is criminally delicious!!! Lie Mohammed did not Lai (or is it the other way round?) Guess what else also originated from Senegal? Zobo originates there too!

If you recall, The general consensus two weeks ago was that Nigeria’s minister of Information has betrayed the country after his ‘Senegal makes the best jollof rice’ utterance.

This comes after he claimed on-air that Senegal makes the best Jollof rice, when asked by CNN reporter, Richard Quest.
