Yesterday, the association of Uber drivers had reportedly sent a letter to the Commissioner of Police, seeking permission to have a peaceful protest over the reduction in their fare prices.
The drivers voiced out their frustration against Uber for reducing the charged fare without reducing the commissions deducted from the drivers.
According to drivers, they want a better and favorable working condition.
The added that the taxi company loses little because it will still continue to receive their 25% monthly commission.
