“Ambassador for Widows”, Mercy Aigbe shared a video of her battered face, alleging that bloodied tissue is as a result of the domestic violence she says she suffered in the hands of her estranged husband, Lanre Gentry.

Mercy shared the video in a bid to condemn the act of domestic violence against women.

She described the act as inhumane, adding that violence is not an option that should be condoned in a relationship.

However, quite a number of her fans disputed the validity of her claims.

Many took to the comment section of her post to question why there is so much blood with an scar.

Some questioned the actress on whether this is a scene from an upcoming movie, while others alluded the bloody scene to the work of a makeup artist, as earlier claimed by her estranged husband.
