South African rapper AKA took to twitter to call out Beyoncé on cultural appropriation after her African themed push party.
Over the weekend, Beyonce and her husband hosted friends and family at a ‘Carter Push Party’ at a private residence in Beverly Hills.
Many of the attendees including Beyonce and Jay Z sported one form of African inspired attire.
Rapper Aka isn’t too pleased with the cultural appropriation element (the adoption or use of the elements of one culture by members of another culture).
He expressed in a series of tweets his opinion, stating that he recognizes only one Queen B, a reference to his girlfriend Bonang Matheba.
Beyonce”s legion of fans, Bey Hive have since slammed him for his tweet.
