BREAKING NEWS: 3 Policemen Feared Dead as Robbers Raid Banks in Osun, Removed ATM Machine (Photos)

Three policemen were killed as hoodlums struck three new generation banks in Iwo, an ancient town is Osun State.

DAILY POST reports that the bandits stormed the banks at exactly 3:25pm, and raided the three banks, which are situated along Bowen University.

According to eyewitnesses, three policemen were murdered in the course of the robbery, while one of the robbers were killed by policemen attached to one of the banks.

ATM machines was reportedly removed from the banks although there is no confirmation on whether it was taken away.

Many residents and students were injured during the robbery as they scampered for safety.

As at the time of report, the police is yet to make an official statement about the incident.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, SP Folashade Odoro was not on ground for reaction, as her mobile phone was permanently switched off as of the time of filling this report.
