The Canadian police have nabbed a Ghanaian man, Andrew Boateng Gyimah for allegedly defrauding two clients by selling packaged rice to them as an iPhone.
According to reports, Andrew was arrested in Toronto, Canada, after he was reported to the police by two of his victims.
Canadian authorities, in their report, state that Andrew met up with one of his victims in an area of Islington Avenue after the victim responded to an advert posted online.
The report state that he gave the victim a imitation of an iPhone in a box but she opened the box, it was discovered that it contained only packaged rice.g
Earlier, someone else has reported falling to the same trick by Andrew Gyimah.
Andrew has been slammed with two counts of fraud under $5,000, two counts of false pretence under $5,000, and two counts of breaching a court order.
